Heidi Montag’s Plastic Surgery an Ugly Sign of the Times

In this Daily News article Heidi Montag (fake celebrity from MTV’s “The Hills”) speaks about how her mother looked at her as a “circus freak” after her plastic surgery.  I think Heidi owes circus freaks everywhere an apology.  How dare she lump them in the same sad circle she runs in.  Heidi’s a mess, and I think she’s headed for a long downward spiral (even more than she’s in now).  The girl is only 23, and she’s already the biggest joke in Hollywood (No Lindsay, you’re not a joke, you’re just . . . sadly over the hill at only 24, but you’re best saved for a different post).

Hey, at least Lindsay could act at some point in her career (I still enjoy “Mean Girls” lol) – and at least Lindsay had somewhat of a “hit” song lol - if that’s what you want to call it (why do they all feel the need to “sing” ?  Just stop, every single one of you!).  My problem with Heidi is that she aches so much to be famous and make it in Hollywood, so much so that she puts her body in jeopardy for her sick and twisted goals.  I hate that side of Hollywood that makes young people do anything and everything just to be famous.  What’s so special about being famous anyway?

Fittingly, Montag’s failed album that she recorded is titled, “Superficial” - and I think that explains it all.  Heidi thinks that one needs to have plastic surgery to succeed in the music business . . . okay??  Apparently, someone needs to tell her that you should start by trying to be good at actually making music, instead of looking like a “circus freak” and pretending to perform.  She looks terrible, acts terribly, and sings . . . well . . . she doesn’t sing.  The sick girl (and I do believe there is a problem in the heads of people like this . . . something clearly isn’t working right) actually thinks she needs to have surgery to help her look better??  She’s 23!?  Older women have lines removed and face lifts and yadda yadda yadda – if it’s done right, modestly, and moderately, than perhaps it’s okay – but Montag’s motives and rationale is all whacked out.  Do I care about her?  Absolutely not . . . but what I do care about is the young girls in our country that immediately think plastic surgery is the answer – it’s the way to succeed!  Ridiculous!

Heidi Montag is famous, and you’d think she’d be happy with that – but she’s famous for all the wrong reasons.  The girl is a walking joke, as is her fool of a husband Spencer Pratt.  They’re both jokes and I’d choose obscurity over their lives in a heartbeat . . . what I hope the young people of America realize is that if you really want to be something . . . if you truly desire to achieve something . . . then you must believe, dream, plan, and act in order to get it.  You don’t go under the knife, make yourself this plastic make believe image of your former self and record some cheap thrown together album and BOOM!  Life is great!  Unfortunately, I feel all too much lately our society has become obsessed with reality TV, Hollywood, and American Idol and all that stuff.  Hey, I admit, I watch reality shows too . . . but I have no desire to become 99% of the people that are on those shows.  I truly hope we don’t have an abundance of young American girls who aspire to be like Heidi Montag or even Brittney Spears.

Bottom Line: American Idol has its place – I think Carrie Underwood is an example of someone who actually could sing and found success through that show.  Heidi Montag, however, represents a demented and sick (I still believe it’s a psychological disorder!  The girl is 23 and she needs to make herself look that fake!?) idea that women must look a certain way in order to be successful in “the business” – give me a break.  I cannot believe I spent this much time writing about Heidi Montag . . . I need to go throw up.

haha that’s okay – I’m HAPPILY engaged to be exact! (nice, eh!?) And she’s happily engaged to Mike Fisher who is currently enjoying an 11 game winning streak with the Ottawa Senators. Sorry, I couldn’t resist that! lol

    - as far as Heidi is concerned – it’s just a sign of how desperate people can be to “make it” and they end up ruining themselves – she’s an idiot, complete idiot, but I can’t help but feel sad/sorry for crazies like her . . . like, what’s going on in her plastic-bleached head??

10 surgeries in one day should never ever be allowed. and especially not flaunted!

it’s insane! And to the doctor who did it – well – the guy’s just making money I guess, right? I heard he was getting flack for it? Does it affect her immediate well-being?? If it does, then it shouldn’t happen, but if it doesn’t – then shouldn’t the Dr. be allowed to do whatever he wants? I don’t watch “Nip Tuck” so I don’t know lol

I don’t know how the code of ethics works with plastic surgery lol – it’s so wild to me.
