I could go many places with this – 1) I could easily joke about and wonder how the hell this guy is even able write a book (a not-so-smart joke here and there), but I’m not that cruel (besides, honestly, I don’t think he’s actually that DUMB – hence the fact that the guy IS raking in the dough) . . . I could 2) talk about how ridiculous it is that there are probably so many more worthwhile actual writers out there that are struggling, and all of a sudden some douche with ripped abs gets on MTV and BOOM – he’s got a book deal . . . but isn’t that America, ladies and gentlemen? Isn’t that how it seems to just keep happening? It seems the only goal for young people anymore is to be annoying enough, ripped enough, drunk enough, stupid enough, or anything ENOUGH just to be on TV – once there, anything can happen – like, for instance, writing a book on how to get ripped abs and do your freken laundry (unfrekenbelievable lol).

Guido, Guidos, Heidi Montag, Heidi Montag-Pratt, Italian, Italian Americans, Italians, Jersey Shore, Laguna Beach, Mike Sorrentino, Mike The Situation, MTV, New Jersey, Spencer Pratt, The Hills, The Situation, U.S.A.
In this Daily News article Heidi Montag (fake celebrity from MTV’s “The Hills”) speaks about how her mother looked at her as a “circus freak” after her plastic surgery. I think Heidi owes circus freaks everywhere an apology. How dare she lump them in the same sad circle she runs in. Heidi’s a mess, and I think she’s headed for a long downward spiral (even more than she’s in now). The girl is only 23, and she’s already the biggest joke in Hollywood (No Lindsay, you’re not a joke, you’re just . . . sadly over the hill at only 24, but you’re best saved for a different post).

There IS a God! I mean, the existence of God was already proven when Spencer Pratt’s prayers for a double date with Miley Cyrus were answered, but now it’s official! God has shined his all mighty power upon the people at E! for they have done America a great service in banning Speidi! The E! network conducted a poll which resulted in 94% of people who are sick and tired of Heidi Montag-Pratt, and Spencer Pratt (annoyingly known as Speidi) and their antics – which many believe are fake just to bring attention to themselves. Read about it at NyDailyNews.com
I think it’s pretty obvious that their behavior is planned (I mean they ARE on The Hills for gods sake) in order to get more of a celebrity spotlight shined down on them. My problem with them is this: Why the hell do you want to be looked at as a bunch of fools, idiots, and phonies? You are portraying yourselves in such a negative light just so you can become a celebrity? It matters that much to them? Of course there is always the theory that they really ARE as stupid as they portray themselves, and that would be just too sad. I know stupid people exist out there, but this is ridiculous. Finally, I’m not religious, but even I’m offended by their “fake” calls to Jesus, and especially Heidi’s line about Mother Teresa when talking about undressing for Playboy:
“I’m more of a modern Mother Teresa. I would take things with moderation. I think God created the body. I think we’re born naked. We die naked. I don’t think it’s something to be ashamed of. I think the body is a beautiful piece of artwork that God created. I have nothing to be ashamed of.”
Are you kidding me?! I think we all should be offended by her stupidity.
Bottom Line: These two are going to fall from the public eye fast and hard. I like to see how Al Roker, and other hosts get tough on them and “call them out” for what they truly are. Yes, they did interest me in the past because of the “train wreck” factor, and how much material they have provided The Soup, but I’m so done with them. Thank you E!
I thankfully managed to never hear of this show, thus avoiding catching it on TV, until I caught this clip of “Speidi” (Spencer and Hedi Pratt from MTV’s The Hills) on AOL. Take a look at how they interact with their fellow “celebrities” – and I thought a show about Octomom would be the ultimate shame. Silly me. And I must say, I absolutely LOVE IT when Stephen Baldwin says, “I’ve heard of jungle fever but this is ridiculous!” Golden stuff right there!
The show also includes Patti Blagojevich, wife of the former governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich. I mean really – what has happened to the meaning of the word celebrity? It really just gets kicked around and applied to anyone so easily – and if you were in ANY sort of news story, or had only 5 minutes of fame, then you end up on one of these shows. These people have NO shame eh?
I hope to never accidentally stumble upon this show when it’s on the air, and I will NEVER look for it on purpose. I will limit my exposure, and hopefully keep some brain cells by doing so, by simply watching The Soup. Joel McHale does a fine job of exposing Spencer for what he really is – actually – SPENCER does a fine job of doing that lol. What an Idiot.
