TomSings The 90′s!!
Hello, my name is TomSings! Tom Unfiltered’s alter-ego – born and bred in the 90′s grunge era. Here is my bio:
I have the voice of an angel – (if the angel were born in Seattle around 1989 and had sandpaper applied to his larynx, and was fed gravel instead of milk)
I realized I wanted to sing around 1999 – when trash like N’Sync, Backstreet Boys, and Brittney Spears was taking over the airwaves. I thought, “holy crap – it’s up to me, and only me, to save music!” So save music I did.
I secluded myself from all the negative POP influence in a far-off and well hidden garage – located in the foothills of Mt. Olympus. I figured if Mt. Olympus was good enough for the Gods, then it must be good enough for a “God of Rock” – so, fittingly, I hid the entrance to the garage by placing a very large rock in front of it. Symbolic – indeed.
Before I excused myself from a musical society of suck, and went inside this “garage of grunge,” I made sure to outfit it with nothing but the best technology. I took my trusty Sony DiscMan, so I can be inspired by the likes of Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains. I took my old Compaq desktop and made sure it had all the latest downloads for Windows 98. I hardwired the garage with a 56K Modem, to ensure I could access all the great MIDI files necessary to revive the world of Rock ‘n Roll. I also took along a photo of the cast of “Charles In Charge” – signed by Scott Baio, but that didn’t really have anything to do with Rock . . . .
Once my state of the art garage was complete (my final touch was to install a walk-in closet to fit all of my flannels!) I waited out the “musical dark-age” of the early thousands, purposely waiting until Myspace came along, providing me with an outlet to share my life changing vocal abilities with the unsuspecting public. How I knew about Myspace way before it ever came out? I can’t tell you that. Let’s just say I’m an idiot for not starting it myself. For Gods Sake my name is Tom. It would’ve been too perfect . . . .
Bottom Line: I have included most of the songs I recorded during my long stint in the “Garage of Grunge” – enjoy – share them – sing along to them – open up other peoples’ hearts to the magical sounds of TomSings The 90′s!!
Warning/Disclaimer: You might have to turn up the volume on your speakers in order to hear my music. The sort of genius that comes out of my voice-box apparently records at lower decibel levels, far too sweet and magnificent for the average human ear to easily pick up. Please place all household pets outdoors. I repeat, if you want Fido to ever hear again, let him out back to play before opening one of my magical tracks!
“I’ve got mad hits like I was Rod Carew”
1) Forcefully Take Advantage of Me
2) Dead, But Somewhat Still Alive
6) Do? Do Half? Do Half Neesh?
7) Damn it, Jeremy! Don’t Call Out In Class!

Really? Nobody has commented yet? Listen here, “All Mighty Interweb” – this is where you’ll find the best music (ever!) and if you want more, all you have to do is ask (damn it!) Make sure the song you want is from the 90′s, and I’ll make sure I’ll sing it with passion!! Jesus – talk people!! Request, request, request!!!
